You have two options for linking to pages inside the wiki - both work equally well.
- Highlight the text you want to turn into a link, click on the "chain link" button in the formatting menus. In the dialogue box, pull down the Link list option and choose the page you want to link to.
- If you know the address/page name, use wiki markup to write the name of the page. The syntax is to enclose the page name in two brackets [[ ]]. The wiki will then link to the page and use the page's address to fill in the text for the link. For example a link to the Help page (http://wiki.sematech.org/Help) can be written as: [[Help]]
Using the Link button:

For linking to pages on the internet, you must select the text you want to use as the link, click on the Link button and enter (or copy and paste) the URL of the location in the Link URL box at the top of the dialogue box shown above.
